This is Rich’s morning ritual. The alarm is set for 5:45, Phyllis shows up around 5:15. And the perrsistent lovin starts!

“Come on daddy!! Time to make the coffee!!! Get up! Get up! Get up!!”

    OMG! Phyllis looks so much like one of the kittens I fostered, Emmett, in this pic. I didn't see it before because of the orange/brown in her coat (he's straight b&w).


    LOL, annf! The Simon franchise is one of my favorites!



    Unfortunately, none of my current crew are of a mind to help me rise in the morning (and I could use it, night owl that I am!). doodlebean, I'm insanely jealous!

    Getting up before 6 a.m. is disgustingly early even in the best case, but I might consider it if I got to wake up slowly with a purring alarm clock... I bet it beats those dawn/daylight lamps!

    Aw! My little Esmerelda does the same thing. A bit before I'm ready to get up, she hops up next to me, motor running, head-butting get-ups! Love it!
