Just another morning…

So, just like every morning, Matt has his coffee while checking his email and reading all the latest online news and/or gossip.

Apparently Rosalie has taken a liking to the online news.

Renatta continues her search for ANY small object floating around on the desk that might be fun to knock off and play with on the floor (and yes, smarty pants, there are lots of obvious objects for victims).

And then there’s poor Phyllis, who just wants to be loved on (and catching a mouse on the screen is a secondary need!).

As I don't and won't have a cat of my own in any foreseeable future, I really enjoy the way you share catowner's life with us blog readers! This looks like a very cosy morning routine indeed. :)

When staying with friends with kitties I've found that cats tend to flop down on the object of your attention (newspaper you are reading, fabric you are cutting), but I guess I'd never realized that nowadays the optimal spot is of course between the computer user and the screen... Obviously, smart miss Rosalie figured this out very fast.

Looking around, I think my desk would be paradise for miss Renatta - yours is still very organized!

Such an adorable set of supervisors! Rosalie and Renatta are definitely growing up into beautiful cats. Thanks for sharing!

No, no Rosalie- that's called Palinitis, and it's an irritation of the brain!
  • Helen
Aw, cute pictures! I love seeing all of them together.

I see where you guys have gone wrong:

You need to have two warm and humming CPU's up on the desk -- one on either side of the monitor. And then have a vented board running over top of that heat-producing screen.

That way the kittehs stay up and out of the way... well, most of the time... Oh, and I guess you would need older cats, too...

Darn! And here I thought I was being helpful!

Fabulous pics! My kittehs are great at the knock & grab game. And computers are fascinating - my Mr. Cattingham plays catch the cursor.

Awww, they're all just so sweet!
Our kitties love to play the 'knock it off' game too :-)

Nice to see that you have plenty of assistance with your morning online meanderings! My kitties have a tendency to climb up on the printer (well, ok, so it's right at the window sill, but still.....) and SOMEHOW, Evangeline manages to change the language to either "Hungarian" or "Croatian". Sheesh!

LOL! It cracks me up when kitties play the "knock bits and bobs off the desk one by one" game! Ours do it, too.

You do have the loveliest kittehs!

Wow! Did you just take a picture of my desk and Photoshop Matt into it??? My beautiful boy kittie loves to knock stuff off my desk as well...then jumps out of his skin when they crash to the floor...thankfully our other cat detests heights :)

Everyone is so beautiful, including Matt! And I'm no "smarty pants" because the desk looks pretty tidy compared to mine most days.
    Thanks guys and kitties!

This is the best! You guys make my day (we are in Houston and looking at your blog has made my post hurricane ike days brighter!). Thanks! Your kitties are perfect, can I hire one?
