The Aliens Arrive!

The BEST day in the past six months! Seems like we’ve been waiting for weeks for the babies to come home, but now they are here.

So, why do we refer to them as Aliens? Well, I’m pretty sure that was Phyllis’s idea. We haven’t yet been able to convince her that they are natural creatures from our very own world. I’m hoping her opinion will change to think of them as “OUT OF THIS WORLD” instead of “FROM another world”!!

So, here are the photos of the Aliens courtesy IBKC:

Miss Alien Rosalie Pettibone

And then there’s Miss Alien Renatta Pettibone

And one of their photos with both:

Aw, you got my two favorite Pettibones! I'm looking forward to seeing them grow up on your blog. :)

Congratulations on your new additions :-)

Put me down as another IBKC follower!

Everyone will adjust soon! When I brought Little Cat in with Big Cat, for the first week, Big Cat sat on the table and hissed for no reason when ever Little Cat was within 10 feet.

She warmed up soon after, and still now, 5 year later, Little Cat is often spotted giving Big Cat a bath!

I agree with Anne Boleyn... you and Matt seem like just the people for these girls! I'll be checking in often to see how y'all are doing. I'm sure Phyllis will come around... I mean, look at those sweet little faces - who wouldn't?

    Three cheers for you guys!

Hi Rich, another person hopping over from IBKC! Congrats to you and Matt on your new additions, hopefully Miss Phyllis will adjust quickly. I'll keep visiting the blog - love hearing about the lives of IBKC alum.

ps- Phyllis is a brave cat for going anywhere near the shower mine won't do that :)

Oh, the cuteness - it is almost overwhelming!! And those eyes on Renatta look like aquamarines - so stunning. Such lucky little kitties, all three.

Thank you Richard and Matt for loving Phyllis and the babies...knowing they are so loved makes all the late night bottle feedings worth it! Was nice to see you all again. Kisses to Phyllis and the wee ones! Kim

You are very sweet Anne. Thanks for your comments!

You guys are so lucky! And you also seem like people I would want to have these babies. Yea, you!
I followed you here from the IBKC and I loved your question on your blog, "Whose life will you change today?" Last week a neat young man was helping me with my groceries. He is a dear and special person as are most of the helpers at this store, challenged in some way but way better than average in real life ways. As we were walking to my car he said, "Tell me something nice that's happened to you today." Your question and that request from him are the sorts of things that will change this world. Thank you.
